Description

Ifö Eco gG 500V is an environmentally friendly D fuse for wire protection, free from lead and cadmium. The fuse complies with IEC 60269 and has high breaking capacity, excellent selectivity and an optimized melting characteristic. The porcelain casing provides high thermal shock resistance and optimal thermal conductivity. The contacts are made of copper or copper alloy, which provides high conductivity and low contact resistance. The contacts are nickel-plated or silver-plated for best contact and low transition resistance.

The power consumption is low, which means a low temperature on the fuse and surrounding equipment and reduces the risk of oxidation. Low power consumption also means a long service life, at rated current it is age-resistant. Low energy consumption also results in lower operating costs and reduced energy loss in the network.

A fuse with the designation gG can replace fuses with the designations gL and gL-gG. Today, the current designation in the IEC standard is gG.
