The MXS 5.0 Polar contains the same modern technology that was previously only found in Ctek's professional products. The charger solves many battery-related problems and is perfect for those with high demands. The MXS 5.0 Polar has functions that examine and show whether the battery can be charged and maintain a charge, a special reconditioning function that restores stratified and deeply discharged batteries, unique maintenance charging and a mode for optimized charging during cold winter days. It can also charge demanding batteries (e.g. Optima). The entire charging process can be followed on the unique display. The MXS 5.0 Polar is a fully automatic 8-step charger that provides 0.8 A or 5 A for 12 V batteries between 1 and 110 Ah and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 160 Ah. The charger is IP65 rated (splash and dust proof), protects the vehicle electronics, does not create sparks and is polarity protected and short-circuit proof. It comes with a 5-year warranty.
