Description

Skystar ECM is a stylish and discreet fan convector suitable for both heating and cooling. It is equally suitable for providing both warmth and coolness. Skystar is always installed in the ceiling. Since the convector is designed in a cassette format, it is ideal for recessing into a suspended ceiling. Skystar should always be complemented with a visible front panel. Skystar is also suitable for hanging in ceilings without suspended ceilings, and for this installation type, there is an accessory that provides additional height (KIC). Skystar ECM has a very low noise level. Additionally, thanks to the EC fan motor, it is very energy-efficient. The regulation is stepless, ranging from 0 to 100%, with a 0-10V signal.

Skystar ECM is available in several different versions. Firstly, the ceiling cassette comes in two different sizes for recessing in the ceiling, measuring 60x60 cm or 80x80 cm. Each size offers both 2-pipe and 4-pipe system alternatives. Furthermore, various heating and cooling capacity options are available. Additionally, different models of Skystar ECM are prepared for different types of control. You can choose between SK-ECM and SK-ECM-MB. Read more about these under "Control."

There is an option to connect supply air to the convector. You can also connect outlets to carry treated air to an adjacent room. The water battery is made of copper and aluminum and has an internal thread. As standard, the maximum working pressure is 10 bar. Now you can also special order Skystar ECM with an even higher pressure class, 16 bar.

The ceiling cassette has a condensation-insulated housing made of electro-galvanized steel plate. It is the cassette itself that is recessed into the suspended ceiling. We deliver Skystar together with a washable filter, an outer condensate tray, and a built-in condensate pump. The condensate pump can handle a maximum lift height of up to 600 mm above the bottom of the ceiling cassette. The included condensate line is 470 mm outside the unit. Always complement a recessed Skystar with a front panel, which you order separately. There are two different front panels to choose from: HTA (ABS plastic) and MD (steel plate), both available in standard white (RAL9003) or any other color of your choice.

Ceiling Installation without Suspended Ceiling: For installation in rooms without a suspended ceiling, Skystar can be installed visibly in the ceiling. Here, a sheet metal casing (KIC) is used instead of a front panel. The KIC casing encloses the fan convector and provides an aesthetically pleasing solution. It is available as an accessory for both sizes of Skystar ECM.
