A weak electric shock naturally occurs between the copper and the slime of the assassin slug. The shock does not kill the slug, but it is unpleasant enough for it to turn back and not pass the copper tape. The tape is therefore used to create a barrier against the assassin slugs that they cannot get past. Suitable for use on pots, pallet collars and other outdoor growing containers. Attach all around (leave no openings) on a well-cleaned surface. Clean the copper tape regularly and it can last several seasons.
