NIBE F1245 is a complete heat pump with integrated water heater of 180 liters. NIBE F1245 has a high annual efficiency and high temperature range.

NIBE F1245 is available in the following power sizes 6, 8 and 10 kW. The heat pump is suitable for villas and terraced houses.

Integrated water heater

Built into the heat pump is a water heater that is insulated with environmentally friendly foam for minimal heat loss.

NIBE Smart Price Adaption

With Smart Price Adaption, the heat pump receives information about the next day's electricity prices and then adapts the operation to these. The function is based on information about the hourly prices of the coming day from the electricity exchange NordPool Spot. The prices in combination with expected heating and hot water needs then automatically control the heat pump. This is in order to reduce energy costs and which in the long run contributes to a smaller environmental impact.

Construction

F1245 is equipped with a 180 liter water heater that is optimally insulated for minimal heat loss. F1245 has a 7 kW immersion heater with seven steps that is automatically switched on when needed. This can be switched to four stages of 9 kW.

F1245 is built on a robust frame with strong plates and effective sound insulation for best comfort. All plates are easy to disassemble to facilitate installation and possible service.

Functional principle

F1245 consists of heat pump, water heater, electrical cassette, circulation pumps and control system. F1245 is connected to the brine and heat carrier circuit.

The heat absorption from the heat source (rock, soil, lake) takes place through a closed brine system where water mixed with antifreeze circulates. In some cases, the groundwater can be used as a heat source. Then an intermediate exchanger must be used to protect the heat pump.

In the heat pump's evaporator, the refrigerant liquid (antifreeze liquid, eg ethanol or glycol mixed with water) gives off its energy to the refrigerant, which is evaporated and in turn is compressed in the compressor. The refrigerant, whose temperature has now been raised, is led into the condenser where it emits its energy to the heat carrier circuit and, if necessary, to the water heater. If there is a greater need for heat / hot water than the compressor can handle, there is a built-in immersion heater.
