Description

Devipipeheat 10 V3 is a self-limiting heating cable used for frost protection of pipes. The cable's self-limiting capability ensures that the cable's output increases or decreases depending on the ambient temperature.

A new self-limiting cable can be installed in and on the outside of water lines. It is suitable for drinking water and ordinary water pipes and is designed to be installed on the outside of pipes in all countries and on the inside of pipes in certified countries (DK, FI, SE, NO, RU). Available as cable on drum and ready lengths with cold cable.

Each heating cable screen must be earthed in accordance with local electrical safety regulations and connected to a residual current device (RCD). The recommended RCD threshold is 30mA, but can be up to 300mA if capacitive leakage current can lead to tripping of the RCD. The cable is approved for installation inside pipes.
