Description

Masonry beam Inner wall is a lightweight clinker beam intended for use over doors and windows. Just as the name suggests, it is of course a product that goes particularly well with Masonry block Inner wall. The product is primarily designed for masonry together with this innovative masonry block and its associated control detail when constructing interior walls.

The beam, which is so-called prefabricated, is reinforced with hot-dip galvanized steel. On its short side there is a symbol in the form of an arrow and in connection with the installation of this type of beam it is extremely important that this is done with the arrow upwards. Furthermore, the layer must be at least 250 mm on each side and mortar must be applied between the beam and block.

The product, which consists of lightweight clinker, sand and hardened cement, is delivered on a pallet and should be stored on a level surface. Regarding the size, this beam is manufactured in three lengths, the shortest of which is 1495 mm and the longest 2395 mm. The bearing capacity of the beam is of course tested and documented according to the current standard.

In combination with Murblock Innervägg, this prefabricated lightweight clinker beam forms inner walls that can function load-bearing and are particularly well suited when increased sound reduction is desired. Masonry erected with these products can be surface treated with different methods and it is possible to achieve everything from smooth to rough surfaces with either thin putty-like systems or traditional thick plaster.
