Description

ELKO is the first in the industry to produce switches, sockets and frames in marine plastic. Initially, there are 19 products in the design series ELKO Plus in the color black which are available in marine plastic. 2-way recessed socket with earth, screw, split supply 440V, can be supplied with 2-phases, NOTE! Use 2 pole dwarf switch. Base and cover plate made of halogen-free thermoplastic. Double connections per phase. Mounting depth 32mm. This is stated in the Electrical Installation Regulations SS 436 40 00 section 521.8.2. It is also important that there are indeed two different phases feeding this outlet. The outlet cannot be used in apartments with a single-phase mains cable. It has to do with Kirchoff's first law. If the same phase is used, the currents will be added and then the neutral conductor will be loaded too much. However, there is no problem if there are two different phases due to the fact that they are offset by 120 degrees relative to each other.
