Description

When testing the insulation of the circuit that contains electronics, all phase and neutral conductors should be connected during the measurement. This ensures that there is no potential difference between the conductors that can damage electronics and the like. With the new Easy-ISO, it has now become very easy to make these connections and perform the measurement. The Easy-ISO set consists of four magnetic probes 6.6mm and a 4-pole cable that is assembled in a "female socket". With the magnetic probe, the cable automatically stays on the measuring point (terminal) without having to use tools and without loosening clamps. The insulation test is done on a voltage-free installation. Break the power at, for example, the earth leakage circuit breaker and mount Easy-ISO in a suitable place. You can then measure at once. Since this method has short-circuited the installation, it is important that the Easy-ISO is removed before you turn the power back on. The Elma Easy-ISO set complies with IEC 61010-1 CAT III 600V.
