Description

The phase / Volt Stick is an instrument which, without a metallic contact, indicates the presence of 230/110 V (Volt Stick PRO 12V) AC voltage in cables, sockets, switches, etc. Areas of use: Locates breaks in cables outside the insulation (but not shielded cables). Checks fuses in power stations and plug cabinets. Distinguishes between phase and neutral in both single-phase and three-phase installations. Identifies live wires in junction boxes. Checks connected circuit breakers. Locates faulty lights in series connections (eg Christmas tree lights). Checks if voltage is present in ungrounded wall sockets. Fuses are checked through the glass on the fuse holder.
