Description

3-phase electric motor, made of aluminum. Malmberg's electric motors are manufactured from high-quality components to meet the Nordic industry's requirements for reliability and quality. The motors are fully enclosed and with an external cooling fan. All motors have an aluminum stator frame. Manufactured with motor winding according to insulation class F, 155°C IEC 34-1, for increased service life and reliability.

The connection box is placed on top of the stator when delivered, but can be moved to the right or left side by mounting the feet on the sides. Bearings with C3 tolerance and radial oil seals. Can be mounted vertically 90° if the fan cover is protected against direct weather effects.

As of June 16, 2011, all motors from 0.75kW-375kW must at least meet IE2.
As of 1 January 2015, all motors from 7.5kW-375kW must at least meet IE3 or alternatively IE2 and be combined with frequency converters.
As of 1 January 2017, all motors from 0.75kW-375kW must at least meet IE3 or IE2 and be combined with frequency converters.
