Description

Filter for protection against gases and vapors with optimized absorption capacity.

Gas filter SR 297, class 1, is intended for use together with Sundström's half and full masks. The filter is of type ABEK and protects against the following types of gases/vapours: Type A protects against organic gases and vapours, solvents, whose boiling point exceeds +65 °C. Type B protects against inorganic gases and vapors, eg chlorine, hydrogen sulphide and hydrogen cyanide. Type E protects against acidic gases and vapors, eg sulfur dioxide and hydrogen fluoride. Type K protects against ammonia and certain amines, e.g. ethylenediamine. The gas filters can easily be combined with particle filters SR 510 P3 R, to obtain protection also against aerosols (particles), e.g. when spray painting.
