Description

A grass seed mixture especially for extensive areas where the conditions are lean. Is valuable in the fight against soil erosion. Widely used for road cleaning precisely because of its properties, where the content consists of red fescue with spurs that have the ability to bind the carpet together and sheep fescue that can withstand lean conditions and drought. Can also be used for playgrounds and campsites. Contains, 45% red fescue tightly tufted, 20% red fescue short spurs, 20% red fescue long spurs and 15% sheep fescue.

Contains the species meadow grass (Poa pratensis) which is a blue shimmering, very common grass. However, requires good access to nutrition and water. Red fescue (Festuca rubra) is an herb belonging to the grass family. Red fescue is one of the more important grass species for the establishment of lawns. For lawns, specially refined varieties are used, developed to, among other things, give lower annual growth. Sheep's fescue (Festuca ovina) which is a plant species in the grass family, is also used as joint grass in paving because it prefers lean conditions.
