Hunting And Forest Axe, Dvardala 0.7, Hultafors
Description
Hunting and forest ax Dvardala, Sharp versatility. Dvardala is a perfect ax for hunting and forest life and is a combination of a number of different ax types to cope with many different challenges. It has the same type of skull as the Hultafors Åby axe, but the shaft is shorter, 440 mm (17 inches) long, so that the ax will be easy to take with you into the forest, e.g. in a backpack. The shorter shaft also makes it easier if you work with the ax closer to the body. The ax is suitable for precision work such as carving or building shelters, fire stands and other things around a camp site. This is thanks to a well-sized recess for the fingers and a semi-straight edge with a flat and wide grind. The recess for the fingers allows you to grip high and so you can steer the ax with maximum control. The edge is a little straighter with flat sides so that the ax will lie stable when you cut along a piece of wood, but still slightly curved so that the ax can also work for simpler forest work, such as clearing a free shooting field or a path. The skull is a little thicker over the cheeks to split well and can be used for chopping and tensioning wood.
