Description 

An all-sensitive type B residual current circuit breaker that can handle all types of fault currents: pure alternating current, smoothed pulsating direct current, and pure direct current. It can also handle currents that contain mixed frequencies from 0 to 1000Hz. Type B is prescribed in various types of installations, including electric vehicle charging stations, frequency converters, UPS systems, welding, escalators, elevators, etc. Installations that generate fault currents with direct current exceeding 6mA render a common type A residual current circuit breaker completely ineffective and will not trip. The residual current circuit breaker is not intended for pure direct current installations or alternating current installations with frequencies other than 50Hz."
